Poly Cafe in Seoul organizes the entire interior around audio culture — wall-to-wall timber shelving built to display vinyl records and black speakers mounted prominently in the upper compartments. The modular wooden framework becomes both storage and spatial structure.

LWA0 Audio System by Ledongil Workshop presents the hardware as a formal installation: white modular panels mounted on raw concrete, with audio components housed in a recessed equipment frame.

What's interesting about all of them is how they refuse to hide the audio infrastructure. In conventional retail and hospitality design, speakers disappear into ceilings or get concealed behind grilles. These projects do the opposite — they treat speakers and equipment as compositional elements with the same formal authority as furniture or built-in cabinetry.
