How do you create an inspiring workplace? How does the space we work in influence our health? Can the workspace boost your creativity and well-being? To answer these questions we reached out to experts in the field. On a micro level, Peter Opsvik told us the story of his ergonomic chairs; on a macro—Rosan Bosch talked to us about designing workspaces for big corporate clients, including every kid’s favorite, Lego.

Speaking of spaces, it just so happens that the Polish accents in this issue are all about interiors. From homes (furniture start-up Tylko), to holiday retreats (Oskar and Zofia Hansen’s house in Szumin), to artist studios (Avant-garde Institute), we show how the country’s leading artists of the XXth century lived and worked, and how the new generation has the ambition to conquer the international markets with a clever mix of technology and design.

Pre-order System

A sustainable model of on-demand production. The purchase process is divided into three phases. Every order is handled individually and custom-made.

1. The launch
2. In the making
3. Collect and ship
All goods are limited

In search of sustainable production methods, it is not our intention to overproduce. We only create what you order in advance, products made on-demand using local materials. Each order is handled individually and in accordance with natural resources.
Handcrafted in Europe

All products are produced in the north region of Poland. We have built meaningful relationships with our production teams over the years and worked together to constantly improve the quality of our collection. Buying locally ensures a lower carbon footprint, and in our case, careful craftsmanship by trusted artisans.
Made-to-order

Our goal is to make every purchase a thoughtful one. We consider every order placed in our store as a custom-made design created especially for our clients. Slow and local production has always been the essence of Thisispaper.
Made-to-order

The money serves as the 'bricks' that help us design and build our final production from the moment our clients make a purchase. As they retract, our carefully constructed "build" loses its base. Because of this, we have decided to not accept the returns. The products may only be exchanged for a different model.
