Ovals objects by Space CPH for Sorensen Leather
@zaxarovcom
Nov 27, 2020

Space Ovals were co-created by Sorensen Leather with SPACE Copenhagen as decorative objects and as lounge furniture, with each oval crafted in NUANCE.

To underscore how the ovals are a natural fit with the human form and sculptures in their own right, architect and photographer Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen from Norm Architects orchestrated the art direction of black and white photos to accentuate the ovals and the body. In addition to another photo series with the ovals set against an architectural backdrop – at ARoS Århus Museum of Art in Denmark. The result is a juxtaposition of organic and graphic elements reflecting the relationship between people, objects and architecture.
