OUT MY WINDOWS is a series of six animated GIFs created by Nicolas Sassoon as a seamless animated tile with future metaverse implementation in mind, to be installed within virtual architectures.
OUT MY WINDOWS is a series of 6 animated GIFs created in 2021, each composed of a B&W animated moiré & a minimal colored architectural shape. The combination of both elements plays with depth perception and creates an overlap between architectural features and natural forces/surroundings.
Each artwork was designed as a seamless tile and can be used as tiled digital wallpaper background. This work can also be used as a textural animation in virtual architectures and environments, engaging in a dialogue with the architecture in context.
