Swiss practice Think Architecture has created House at a Vineyard, which includes a veranda and sunken courtyard that have vistas across the waters of Lake Zurich.

This house stands in isolation in a large meadow above a vineyard. A symmetrical sequence of rooms comprising the entrance, hallway and exterior courtyard shapes the main axis towards the vineyard and lake, complemented by a concentric three-dimensional design. An earthy sgraffito produces a semi-natural material effect framed by delicate concrete elements. The glazing disappears into recesses, allowing the inner rooms to merge with the spacious veranda.
