Since 2010, Salva López has been carrying out an interesting exploration of the mountainous landscape of Montjuic.

Documenting it in this formally neutral and almost austere aesthetic, without making any concessions to the visual and sentimental celebration of territory. López documents the territories of uprooting and a certain desolation that coexist in an isolated and half-hidden part of an urbanistically triumphant, post-Olympic Barcelona, perfectly represented by the Montjuïc mountain with its tourists, athletes and walkers.

López shows an unexpected vision of the mountain: tents, mattresses camouflaged among the bushes, traces of people who seem to live there. The space inhabited by the homeless and antisocial, a territory that has escaped development and remains behind the green curtain from which his work takes its title.
